We have just sent the second proofs for the book, and all is going smoothly.
I managed to get a few images in their final versions, and to me,they look great. The picture her taken by Bob Gibson at Sodwalls is an example of the quality of the images in Shooting The West. It comes from a section "Gibbo does Sodwalls!"
We try to put some humour into our publications, and their is a great story of some railfans who while chasing the famous W44 concentrate train fell foul of the law travelling at high speed. The story made the local papers.
Those were great days and we are really looking forward to bring the West back in steam days to life in print.
I will be in Orange on April 23 attending a Railway Seminar. I will have some flyers for the book and a few high quality images as a teaser.
For now we wait for the next set of proofs and if all is OK, go into production.
